The latest iteration of AiFoto, version 3, has been significantly redesigned to enhance photo management capabilities. It introduces several new features aimed at streamlining the organization process, including timelines and smart albums. Additionally, improvements such as instant auto-upload, performance optimizations, and customizable share links contribute to a more efficient photo viewing and sharing experience.

<li>The timeline feature allows users to quickly locate and browse photos from specific dates.</li>
<li>AiFoto 3 employs a more intelligent photo sorting system, with smart albums categorizing images by location, videos, recently added items, and favorites.</li>
<li>Photos can be shared via two methods: sharing links with other NAS users or with friends and family. All shared albums offer optional encryption for added security.</li>
<li>Real-time automatic backup from mobile devices is supported, facilitating seamless synchronization.</li>
<li>Automatic login features simplify access to the application and backup processes.</li>
<li>Download and upload tasks are monitored comprehensively, providing users with clear control over their data transfers.</li>
<li>Enhanced metadata display and the ability to edit photo descriptions improve photo identification and management.</li>
<li>A keyword search function enables quick retrieval of specific images based on metadata tags.</li>
</ul>

Currently, the mobile phone photo auto-upload feature creates folders under Home/MyPhoto/SmartUpload on the NAS. Each folder accommodates up to 999 photos; therefore, uploading a large batch—such as 4,000 images—will generate multiple folders accordingly.

<li>For NAS models in the AS10 series with more than 15,000 photos on a mobile device wishing to perform bulk auto-backups, it is recommended to disable background processes during off-peak hours and re-enable them after completion.</li>
<li>Photo indexing and thumbnail generation may take some time, especially on entry-level models. Uploading large quantities of photos can result in delays of up to a day before all images are fully visible.</li>
